The Arc of North Central Virginia is proud to announce the launch of the COSA Passport, an engaging new initiative designed to inspire members of the Community of Self-Advocates (COSA) to engage their local surroundings, try new experiences, and celebrate milestones in a supportive, confidence-building environment.
COSA members present their passport booklet at participating Stamp Spots, which include local businesses and community locations that have joined the program. Members will receive a unique stamp at each location. Participating sites are identified by the Stamp Spot window sticker. Much like a real passport, it includes space for a stamp, date, and a personal note about the experience. As participants visit more locations and reflect on their journeys, the passport becomes a tangible record of their adventures and growth. Once filled, each passport earns its owner a special prize, celebrating their accomplishments along the way.
