Local Award-Winning Drone Firm Expands to Launch New Creative Agency & Learning Lab: TopKnotch Innovations

WARRENTON, VA – Building on the award-winning success of TopKnotch Drone Solutions,
founders Travis and Kaitlyn Faile are proud to announce the formation of their new parent
company, TopKnotch Innovations, LLC.

This expansion represents a unique fusion of high-tech precision, creative design, and
specialized education, bringing three distinct service lines to the Fauquier County community:

1. TopKnotch Drone Solutions (The Aviation Division)

Led by Chief Pilot Travis Faile (FAA Part 107), this division remains dedicated to its core
mission: providing premium aerial mapping, thermal imaging, and construction data. It continues
to serve the industrial sector with the precision clients have come to trust.

Additionally, following enthusiastic interest during recent community event appearances, Travis
is continuing to offer Drone Safety & Flight Training workshops. These sessions answer the
frequent requests from local families to give students of all ages hands-on experience with
professional aviation technology.

2. TopKnotch Innovations (The Creative Tech Division)

Under the new parent banner, Travis is expanding his portfolio to offer Commercial
Photography, 3D Printing, and Rapid Prototyping. This division brings an "artsy twist" to
technical services, offering custom designs, and professional media services for local
businesses.

3. The TopKnotch Learning Lab (The Education Division)

The most significant new addition is the launch of a specialized STEAM Microschool Program
designed for gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) homeschool learners.

Led by Director of Education Kaitlyn Faile (MAT, MA), the Lab is the realization of a long-held
vision. "After leaving the public school system in 2022 after a decade-long career and spending
three years in the corporate world as a consultant and COO, I realized there was a critical gap
in our local options," says Kaitlyn. "We are building the learning space I always knew should
exist—a low-sensory, high-intellect environment where learners are safe, seen, and genuinely
excited to explore. It is a place for science and stories, engineering and empathy."

Community Connection & Expansion

TopKnotch Innovations is currently accepting inquiries for its educational pilot cohort and is
actively scouting for commercial office space in the Warrenton area to house the Learning Lab.

"Our journey from a drone startup to a multi-disciplinary agency proves that with the right
support, you really can build anything," says Kaitlyn. "We are thrilled to deepen our roots in
Warrenton and provide a 'Safe Harbor' for local families seeking a different kind of education."

About the Founders

Travis and Kaitlyn Faile are long-time residents of Fauquier County. Travis serves as Technical
Director and Chief Pilot. Kaitlyn holds Masters degrees in Teaching and Professional Writing, is
a licensed Virginia educator endorsed in Biology, English, and Social Studies, and is currently
an Executive MBA candidate.
